Nassigny Castle is a 14th-century building. The passage of history over the centuries has caused it to suffer significant damage. After several renovations in the 16th and 19th centuries, nothing remains of the castle's original appearance.

Building essentially from the 12th century, apart from the choir and the bell tower which were built in the 17th century. It is here that the writer Alain-Fournier carried out his solemn communion and he evokes it in his novel 'Le Grand Meaulnes'.

Home-school which saw Henri Alain-Fournier grow up from the age of 5 to 12, his father having been appointed director of this boys' school in 1891. He drew his inspiration from this place to write his novel 'Le Grand Meaulnes'. Today, this building has become a school museum, restored as in the time of Alain-Fournier, it is both a tribute to the writer but also a faithful representation of what a school was under the 3rd republic.

Quiet and wild body of water, in the middle of the Berry countryside, bordered by reeds. It is currently managed and maintained by a nokill carp fishing centre.

This hostel-hotel is located along the Berry Canal, with a large sunny terrace. It is right next to the train station and across from the Berry Canal Museum.

Lock on the cycle route from Montluçon to Bourges, along the Berry canal. The cycle and pedestrian path is very pleasant, far from road traffic.
