The old parish church of Saint Médard, dating from the 12th century, was destroyed in 1877. Between 1878 and 1879, a new church was built on the same site by the diocesan architect of Angers, Ernest Dainville, in neo-Romanesque style, for Madame Lehou, who donated the church to the municipality. The church is built of tuff in neo-Romanesque style. Admire the mosaic above the entrance door. An information board provides historical information about this work of art.

The Courcy forest is home to unique flora and its sandy paths give it a moorland feel. There is a quantity of broom and heather and an abundance of small game. Not far from Brain-sur-Allonnes, the forest is home to medieval and Gallo-Roman ruins, easily accessible by an interpretation trail.

The Grand'Maison manor is on the list of historical monuments, particularly for its roof, its facades and the turret of the staircase. It was built in the 16th century in an architectural style of the Angevine Renaissance type. It is now privately owned.
