Very easy and great views of the ponds and birds

The former gravel pits of Incheville and Bouvaincourt (Les Ballastières de Incheville et Bouvaincourt) in the valley of the Bresle river are now ponds and lakes, recreational and fishing waters. Since 2015, they have also been part of the network of protected areas within the European Union Natura2000. The Vallée de la Bresle long-distance hiking trail runs through part of the area.

Étang Épinoy is classified as a natural area of ecological interest for its fauna and flora and is home to numerous species of birds, amphibians, mammals and plants. You can enjoy the scenery and wildlife by walking the trails surrounding the pond. Étang Épinoy is also a historic site, since it was the scene of a battle during the Hundred Years' War. The Dubos Chapel in Guerville is a small brick chapel built in 1790 by Pierre Dubos, who survived a wolf attack and dedicated the chapel to the Holy Name of Jesus. The chapel is open to the public once a year, on August 14, when a mass is celebrated for the Assumption of Mary. The chapel is nestled in lush greenery and offers a tranquil and harmonious atmosphere. You can admire the restored cross on the roof and the paintings inside the chapel. La Chapelle Dubos in Guerville is a hidden gem that will enrich your hiking experience.
