From the Slovenian side, the gravel is perfectly rideable. Easy gravel/forest path. However, parts of the descent into Austria are significantly more difficult on gravel. Not much fun, but a lot of technical stuff. More for experienced mountain bikers.

Magnificent. You have a fantastic view of the mountains and the valley. And if you want—actually, it's a must—you can stop at the Dreiländereck hut and enjoy the food.

Beautiful view of the Julian Alps. Unfortunately, it's also the only great one on the Three Countries Tour (apart from the cable car station and the border triangle), as the tour runs beautifully through the forest.

The path was enclosed by an electric fence. Unfortunately, it wasn't immediately clear which side of the fence was the correct path... But in some places, you could crawl through.

A beautiful little chapel in a forest clearing. It's worth a detour if you're doing the Three Countries Tour, for example.

The view is fantastic! Truly magnificent. It invites you to linger. If you have a snack with you, it's a great spot. If you don't, you should just sit down for a while and enjoy the view.

From the Dreiländerblick, you have fantastic views of the Julian Alps. This mountain world is simply magnificent ☺️. Even from the hiking trail, you can see it from time to time.
