Railway viaduct which allowed the departmental railway line to span the steep slopes of the Guillec at Sibiril until the end of the 1930s, partly transformed into cycle paths after the removal of the rails.

The parish church, built in the 16th century, is open every day from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The building, with Gothic windows, has a two-chambered bell tower and a bell tower with crockets and pinnacles. The interior includes 3 naves separated by ogival arcades, 15 painted wooden panels on paneling dating from 1663 illustrating scenes from the life of Christ, the recumbent statue of Alain Tournemine, Lord of Kermilin (where an imposing castle once stood).

The current parish church is a large neo-Gothic style building. Built in 1864, it was dedicated the following year. The new church replaced a century-old building, dating back to 1763.

Sandy beach approximately 450 m long, facing north/northwest.

Here, it's more relaxed and aperitif by the beach, thanks to the Roc'h ar Mor café-restaurant. Apart from beach volleyball, the activities are rather quiet: fishing on foot, games for children, naps in the dunes or walking... The beach benefits, in addition to tranquility, from the proximity of the nautical center and the port of fishing, right next door.

Before the large beaches of Porz Gwenn and Porz Meur, there are some very beautiful little coves which are not signposted, probably because you have to take a dirt road at the end. Unlike other harsher coves, those of Frouden benefit from very easy access to the sea and an environment that is both isolated and pleasant.

The seahorse which stands facing the sea at a place called Pors ar Stréat has become over time an emblem of Plouescat. This beautiful sea animal was sculpted at the end of the 1980s, by a local stonemason, in a block of granite extracted from the Plouescataise quarry of Kerzéan, at the initiative of a sculptor participating in the exhibition of summer art of the time, Plouesc'Art. Exhibited for a summer in the courtyard of the Anita-Conti school, the seahorse, purchased by the municipality, was installed for a long time in the heart of the village, before finding its definitive place, since 2005, by the sea .
