The Hardelot National Forest is a former royal domain that became state property after the French Revolution. It is home to a rich plant and animal biodiversity, such as the royal fern, the rose pimpinelle, the whiskered bat, the red-eared tree frog and the black woodpecker.

The 15th century church, a remnant of the abbey, has an octagonal bell tower and an 11th century Romanesque baptismal font. The structure is notable for the buildings built against the church, not unusual in the Middle Ages.

This village is a place of pilgrimage for Saint Gangulphus and keeps the memory of Sainte-Beuve's work alive. His parents are buried here. There is also a seventeenth-century castle and a medieval castle.
