Founded in 1889, this abbey was built in the Gothic style. Listed as a Historic Monument, it consists of several buildings, including two castles. Today, it is home to around twenty Benedictine nuns of all ages. The monastery is partially open to the public: the abbey church, parlor, and shop are accessible.

The Hardelot National Forest is a former royal domain that became state property after the French Revolution. It is home to a rich plant and animal biodiversity, such as the royal fern, the rose pimpinelle, the whiskered bat, the red-eared tree frog and the black woodpecker.

The Grand'Place, the rectangular village square, is lined with old houses, mainly from the 18th century. Samer owes its name to H. Wulmaars, a monk who founded a Benedictine abbey here in the 7th century.
