Founded in 1889, this abbey was built in the Gothic style. Listed as a Historic Monument, it consists of several buildings, including two castles. Today, it is home to around twenty Benedictine nuns of all ages. The monastery is partially open to the public: the abbey church, parlor, and shop are accessible.

The Hardelot National Forest is a former royal domain that became state property after the French Revolution. It is home to a rich plant and animal biodiversity, such as the royal fern, the rose pimpinelle, the whiskered bat, the red-eared tree frog and the black woodpecker.

The 15th century church, a remnant of the abbey, has an octagonal bell tower and an 11th century Romanesque baptismal font. The structure is remarkable for the buildings that are built against the church, not unusual in the Middle Ages.
