Lake Kallavesi is one of Finland’s largest lakes, located in the North Savo region and surrounding the city of Kuopio. It has clear waters and numerous islands, with beautiful scenery.

Kuopio's passenger harbour is the busiest port for passenger traffic in the Vuoksi drainage basin and the Lake Finland.

Entrance to the Puijonsarvi Hill in Pohjois-Kallavesi. The area has a lean-to, a campfire site, a compost toilet and a woodshed.

Route includes one ice cream kiosk, open usually daily 11-20 at summer days.

This is a small park with a good decoration and lots of garden benches if you want to sit a bit.
