After lengthy negotiations, we can finally breathe a sigh of relief! The municipality of Bad Ischl and the Technical Museum have found a solution that ensures both the preservation of our historic railway and the enjoyment of Bad Ischl's railway enthusiasts. The municipal council unanimously decided that the Republic of Austria will gift the train to the city of Bad Ischl and simultaneously remove it from its protected status as a historical monument. This is a true gift for all railway lovers! This historic train, which transports us back to the glory days of rail travel, will now be open to the public for the next 50 years. The municipality's commitment to presenting the train in the best possible light and using it for exhibitions and events opens up countless opportunities for us fans. Whether through guided tours or special exhibitions, there are so many chances to immerse ourselves in history and experience the fascination of the railway firsthand.

St. Wolfgang am Wolfgangsee is particularly captivating due to its picturesque location directly on Lake Wolfgang.
