Close to Lichére, a short detour to the unmissable village of Aunac sur Charente, a relaxing break with all shops: bakery, pastry shop, bar, restaurant, general food with local products, butcher, delicatessen, camping, canoeing, guinguette!!

The building is a former chapel of the Commandery of the Order of St. John of Jerusalem. You can enjoy the shaded park behind it after filling your water bottles at the municipal water point, as the town hall and the church share the square.

On the road leading west out of the village, crossing the Charente River towards La Terne, this bridge offers a clear view of the river and the riverside properties. A true postcard of the department and the river, if your route passes over this bridge.

A street overlooking the Charente River, named "Le Quai." Very clear thanks to its limestone paving, it features a boat ramp and a staircase creating a beach on this quiet street.

Old installations are still visible, but canoe rental is now done from the Montignac racecourse. This point below the road, decorated with a few benches under the trees, allows a break on the banks of the Charente.
