Excellent view of the two Mythen mountains in the Alpine foothills. The Grosser Mythen and the Kleiner Mythen dominate the landscape on the eastern side of Lake Lucerne.

The tour to the Etzel, which is just over 1000 m high, is also very beautiful and varied, with lots of paths. The views over Lake Zurich are worth it.

This beautiful mountain hike starts at the Pfäffikon (SZ) train station car park (charges apply). The parking fee can only be paid via the SBB P+Rail app or if you have an SBB parking card. Although this hike is advertised as a pure T2 mountain hike, the first 5.5 km are on normal hiking trails. Note that the trail climbs steeply immediately after the start. Only from the Etzel Ost Fortress Museum onwards do you notice that the paths gradually become a mountain hike. When you get to the top of the Etzel Kulm mountain restaurant and the weather is nice, you have a breathtaking view of the Alps. From there the path leads down, which only involves stairs. Be careful, especially when wet, as it can be very dangerous. Sturdy shoes and good sure-footedness are therefore essential. There are many fantastic viewpoints of Lake Zurich along the entire route, simply wonderful. There are also always very nice barbecue areas to take a break. I can also recommend taking a look at the St. Meinrad Chapel. She is really very beautiful. Highlights I felt: - There are always very beautiful viewpoints - St. Meinrad Chapel - Grill area Gruebi Bannwald, Etzel Nord simply fantastic, there is also a book around it to enter FYI: Moderately difficult mountain hike Difficulty level: T2 (mountain hiking) Important: In rainy weather or snowfall, I recommend walking this route counterclockwise. For those who like it a bit adventurous, take the Leiterliweg up from the Zuger Alpli

Well-known suspension bridge (Raiffeisen "Skywalk"). Only for pedestrians, bikes have to be pushed, crossing bikes is difficult because of the narrow bridge.

Skywalk, suspension bridge, ... not so wild - just enjoy the pudding in your knees and save yourself the dessert in the mountain restaurant.
