It's always beautiful in this place. Often in autumn/winter there is no fog and the sun is shining. Perfect view in good weather, simply amazing.

Great view from above the Hüttnersee lake. As you fly down the hill you can see beyond the valley to the Sihil lake and the surrounding mountains.

Especially when you drive downhill towards Pfäffikon, you have this beautiful view of the Dammstrasse.

The gravel is very rough and no longer pleasant to ride on. Since the gravel has very sharp edges, I could well imagine that you could slash a tire on it. It was a shame that a cool trail was completely ruined in the lower section.

There is a bench in the bend above Luegeten (where the road splits to Etzel/Feusisberg). You can take a break there and enjoy the beautiful view of the lake, the islands and the lake dam. And recharge your batteries, because there is still a long, steep stretch to St. Meinrad :-)

South of the former Bachgaden spinning mill, near the Chotten farm, lies the Bachgadenweiher, formerly the spinning mill's factory pond. Since 1928, it has served the local population as a bathing pond. In 2003, the pond was drained, cleaned and resealed as best as possible. Further cleaning was carried out in 2010 and 2012 by the civil defense and the city's maintenance service. A distinctive root trail, partly slightly sloping, which is difficult when wet. The "Trail under construction" ends approximately in the middle of this trail.

Fresh gravel was spread on the lower part today. It remains to be seen whether this will be good for driving. Today everything was wet and there was so much clay on the tires that it was more like sliding than driving.
