On the right side of the lake, you do not have to walk along the shore. There is a path about 300 meters above the lake, including a spring where you can fill up with water.

A trail that is also a mountain bike route. Beware of fast bikers who may appear on the descent around the corner, stay to the side when running.

Superb uncovered views of the valley and the 3000 to 4000 m peaks. The path is relatively smooth, there are larger rocks so be careful where you step. Very quiet, but perhaps a lot of hikers in the summer season.

The cabin is located at an altitude of 2145m. The kitchen is open from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. If you want to eat there, it is better to reserve the table in advance (early in the morning!) via a call or their website cabinillhorn.ch
