The surrounding area is full of dinosaur footprints, so be sure to keep a watchful eye out for any tyrannosaurs that might also be roaming around. The eastern shore of the lake offers a perfect view of the Aiguille Verte, a truly magnificent mountain, and the largest mountain located solely in France.
