A spectacular mountain lake located at the foot of the Dents du Midi, offering impressive views of these mountains as well as the wider Valais region. The lake is quite accessible, with a solid road connecting it to the town of Martigny, making it a popular destination during the summer months. This route is a great climb and an even better descent, allowing a diverse range of cyclists to access this stunning location.

The climb to Morcles is 6.8 km long, with an average gradient of 10.9% and an elevation gain of 745 m. The road surface is generally very good and there are beautiful views of the valley and surrounding mountains. The descent is quite technical because there are many hairpins.

An artificial, but beautiful, lake perched in the mountains above the Marécottes ski resort. The lake is a popular place due to its ease of access and the large number of hiking, running and mountain biking trails that start from this location. The lake is located below the large, rocky and imposing Dents du Midi. It is equipped with a small refreshment bar, offering an opportunity to refuel before or after a long run in these magnificent mountains.
