Great view of the waterfall. Magnificent and always worth a visit.

The detour on the old GR 20 over the summit is worthwhile.

A magnificent waterfall at the end of an exciting cross-country tour. A certain amount of fitness and absolute surefootedness are absolutely essential. The waterfall and the opportunity to swim are a wonderful reward.

In our hiking guide, the hike was given as taking 4.5 hours. These are tours that we like and can manage well. However, this one took us almost seven hours, and that was without long breaks. (Maybe 3 x 15 minutes). In our opinion, you should set off early so that you don't get stressed in the evening. We are 56 and 58 years old, not particularly trained, and found the hike very beautiful, so recommendable, apart from the first part along the ski lift. But it was also strenuous. Till and Betty

Waterfall with picturesque pond

Located at an altitude of 1,820 meters, the refuge was destroyed by lightning and then rebuilt in 2000. It has 32 places as well as a large grassy plateau suitable for bivouacking. Fill up with water there because you will not find any source until the next refuge of Usciolu.
