magnificent hike!!! breathtaking view!!

The castle was built in the style of Louis XIV. It features a large garden, which includes a 200-year-old Lebanon cedar. The entire complex is surrounded by a moat to protect it from wildlife. The castle is now privately owned.

Only a concrete road to sit on, but what a beautiful rugged place with rocks on both sides.

Arques-la-Bataille Castle is a 12th-century castle that has witnessed many battles and sieges. You can explore the ruins of the fortress and enjoy panoramic views of the valley and the village below. The castle is surrounded by a deep moat that can be explored on a sculpted path. Arques-la-Bataille Castle is a great destination for history and nature lovers.

On gravel or mountain bike to discover nature as close as possible to the sea. Please note that some paths no longer exist, unfortunately due to erosion of the cliffs.

Unfortunately not accessible due to restoration work, but there is a good walking path around it (as of 07/24). From this you have a great view of the surrounding area.

Unusual access to the sea, the Valleuse du Val au Prêtre is an ideal little corner of paradise to recharge your batteries. Wild and authentic, it is also the preferred area for fishermen on foot to collect some shellfish at low tide. The chalk from the cliffs sometimes brings magnificent turquoise colors to the sea.
