Ax-les-Thermes is a magnificent mountain town located in Ariège. This spa resort has the advantage of being attractive all year round for all sports and nature lovers. There you will find all the necessary amenities to have a good time. The offer of accommodation, restaurants and shops is relatively wide.

In Occitan toponymy, a “couillade” means “pass”. That of en Beys culminates at 2,345 meters above sea level and separates the peak of Peyrisses and the peak of en Beys. It links the Peyrisses ponds to the north and the Couillade pond to the south and is used by the GRP Tour des Montagnes d'Ax.

The Rocher de la Vierge is a mound that overlooks Ax-les-Thermes. Topped by an oratory, the place offers an unprecedented panoramic view of the spa town. The statue of the Virgin which stands at the top of the oratory measures more than three meters. At his feet, four angels watch from either side of the mountain. Located 780 meters away, the oratory is freely accessible. It is located on the route of the GRP® Tour des Montagnes d'Ax, accessible by the path that starts behind the thermal establishment of Teich.
