Very well equipped terrace to rest in the shade, with spectacular views of Parc de Sorteny. We arrived by taking a nice walk with the children from the Zone where you can leave the car.

There are some incredible viewing platforms in Andorra and the huge suspended ring sphere from the Tristaina solar viewpoint near Arcalís is one of them. Offering some of the most spectacular panoramic views of Andorra and the Pyrenees from the summit of Peyreguils at 2701 meters above sea level, on the border with France. There may be some challenging sections, but the views are worth it.

In my opinion this is the best refuge along the Coronallacs trail! It feels more like a hotel than a hostel. They accept card payment, you don't need a token for the shower and our evening meal consisted of a fresh and tasty potato salad followed by pasta in tomato sauce (with optional veal), and then a nice apple tart. I was in an 8-person dorm room with just one other person and had my best night's sleep of the trail.

Make sure you fill your water bottles at the base, be it in Massat/Le Port, or Aulus-les-Bains, or Vicdessos because there are no water points on the climb unless the café is open at l’Etang de Lers.

Extremely helpful in identifying the plants we discovered on our hikes and learning their native names :-D
