Wattwil 근처의 Thur를 따라 이어지는 쉬운 길, 다리 2개.

You can hike endlessly on both sides of the Thur river. With your dog and family.

You can also stay overnight at the Tanzboden, for example, if you're hiking the Toggenburg High Trail. Please note, however, that reservations cannot be made from Sunday to Monday or Monday to Tuesday, as Monday is a day of rest. The Churfirsten, from all sides and perspectives, make a beautiful picture. And the lovely Eastern Swiss landscape is simply beautiful.

The path up to Tanzboden is hard-earned. Steep and long - but the view at the top is worth all the effort. The view from Tanzboden over Lake Zurich is breathtaking. From here you can see almost the entire Züri Escape route (the Schlorziflade in the friendly mountain restaurant is highly recommended! 🥧).

Along the Thur route you always have a great view of the Churfirsten. From here you can see it particularly well on clear days. Depending on how you count them, there are six to 13 mountain peaks. How many do you count?

For clarification (despite the supposedly helpful hints!): The marked section is between Brandholzbrücke and Ebnat-Kappel!! Part of it is actually interesting, but the rest is rather boring in Ebnat. The "most beautiful, wildest and most impressive of the whole Thur" is really between Brandholzbrücke and Krummenau - and that is exactly above this section (see separate section HL)! I would generally like more care and much less false information and photos etc. with Komoot!!

The "Thurweg" leads as an interesting narrow path to the right of the river Thur. The river is dammed at a large rock ledge and tumbles through a eroded rock gap with a waterfall down into a eroded rock basin and then into a wider basin framed on both sides by rock faces. The path leads down the northern very prominent rock face. But you can climb further down to the river with lots of rocks.
