former railway line away from traffic

Great idea with a pilgrim rest stop. It really is a place to rest.

Long section of the slightly gravel road bike. Works well with at least 700*35 tires. These are long straight lines in the middle of nature and far from traffic, on an old railway line. There are several bridges which pass over rivers and are points of rest or refreshment. There are no really nice alternatives to this must-see even if it can seem a little monotonous with these long straight lines typical of a railway.

Borrowed from Komoot bike adventurers Barbara 🕊️Andreas. “This little church with its pilgrim hall is a wonderful surprise! Upon entering, the light comes on and soothing music fills the room! After the music ended, we ourselves enjoyed the magical acoustics while singing The songs of Taizé...! At the entrance, on the right, there is a rest room for pilgrims and clean toilets outside in the courtyard. Pilgrims are rarely spoiled like that! Thanks !"

The town of Roquefort unfortunately has no connection with cheese, which is made in Roquefort-sur-Soulzon. The town is no less pretty and has a beautiful church.
