Lake Hołny in the Sejny commune is a picturesque reservoir covering over 150 hectares, located right on the border with Lithuania. Thanks to its quiet zone, it offers a peaceful atmosphere, and the industry-free environment encourages relaxation close to nature. The shores are largely covered with dense reeds and rushes, which limits access but gives the lake a wild character. It's an interesting stop on the trail, especially for those seeking peace, solitude, and contact with nature.

The Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Berżniki is a historic wooden church dating from 1819, picturesquely situated near Lake Kelig. Surrounded by a fence with chapels, and flanked by a 19th-century bell tower and old rectory, it forms a valuable complex of sacred architecture. The interior has retained its historic character, and the site commemorates important events in the history of the parish and the region. In 2013, a plaque was unveiled here in honor of Marian Piekarski, a soldier of the Home Army and the Freedom and Independence Association. Be sure to step inside and notice the interesting lamp!

The first temporary church in Druskininkai was built in 1857 in a separate house, thanks to the efforts of Yakov Rozhnov, the deputy governor of Grodno. He also covered all the costs of building the new church, which was built in 1865. Since 1895, there has been a school near the church. The Church of the Icon of the Mother of God "Joy to All Who Sorrow" is a wooden Russian Orthodox church. It was built between 1861 and 1865, after the place became a famous health resort for Russians. The main donor for the construction of the church was Mikhail Illarionovich Kutuzov. His granddaughter Iekaterina sponsored the iconostasis. The region was occupied by the Poles during World War I and became a center for Belarusian emigrants. The church was closed by the Soviet Union in 1944, but reopened in 1947 and renovated just ten years later. It was renovated again in the late 1980s, during the Soviet era. The church is painted blue on the outside. Various icons and religious images underline the magnificent interior of the church.

The monastery is in close proximity to the basilica.

Between the Dusia and Metelis lakes, south of the village of Meteliai, there is a 15 m high observation tower designed by the architect A. Gudelis. The metal structure is clad with wooden beams and blends into the landscape of the Meteliai Regional Park. The observation tower offers a panoramic view of the Metelis Lake, the village of Meteliai, the Kemsinė meadow and a narrow section of the Dusia Lake. From the tower you can watch birds flying over the lake and hear the frogs croaking in the reeds.
