Roland is a symbol of market peace and the coat of arms and seal of the city of Wedel (Holstein). Quickborn's Evangelical Lutheran St. Mary's Church is located right in the center of town at the intersection of Kieler Straße (Federal Highway 4) and Ellerauer Straße (State Highway 76).
