Beautiful hike! We just weren't aware that just below the highest point of this hike, on the southeast side, you had to climb and scramble over boulders for a long stretch. So, no path. Luckily, there were ropes in two places to hold on, but these 60-plus hikers had a tough time. Pay close attention to the yellow markers on this section!

The Baou tunnel is the last one encountered on the Blanc-Martel trail. It is 670 meters long and is distinguished by its curved shape. Inside, an opening provides access to the Baume-aux-Pigeons.

At the exit of the Fayet tunnel, the Comps road forms a perfect loop to observe the Verdon gorges. A narrow broken line allows you to stop for a few moments to admire the landscape.

Very scenic hike and (if you like) climbing to the Cadières de Brandis in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence department. The Cadières de Brandis mountain dominates the Verdon valley. The hiking car park is on the Route Napoléon between Castellane and Barrême in the Parc naturel régional du Verdon nature park. On the way down I got a little off the path, so pay attention to the markings (yellow bars), because off the path it can quickly become exposed and even dangerous.
