The name of the highlight and the accompanying photo don't seem to fit together, as the image shows "Monument aux Mortes," like those erected in many places to commemorate the victims of war. However, I can't find the odometer to Compostela, as suggested in the name, in the photo.

A very pretty little church in a beautiful location. Unfortunately, it was closed. Drinking water💦 at the cemetery.

The beautiful, large church, restored in the early 1990s, was built in the mid-16th century. It once served as a Protestant temple until it regained its Catholic vocation in the first half of the 17th century.

Nice path along the meadows and fields! Prefer mountain biking especially in winter, a part ends in single which can be muddy

The Gave d'Oloron is the meeting of the Gave d'Aspe and the Gave d'Ossau. A nice view especially when the sun goes down!

This little bar on the Gave de l'Oloron beach serves small, delicious dishes for the hungry at lunchtime and in the evening! Especially with the view, we enjoyed the cold plate, which would also be enough for three people.
