Beautiful walk to do with the family, without any elevation changes.

The bike path has good asphalt, without any potholes! The floodplain is between the Loire and the dam. We experienced the Loire as a calm, unobtrusive river. But apparently, it can also be quite different.

A lot of things come together here: the Nivernais Canal, which we've cycled along so far, the Loire, the Aron, and the Lateral Canal à la Loire. For us, it was a unique experience.

we are now happy to be able to drive along the Canal du Nivernais. It is more entertaining here than the part we drove along the Loire. Here too, the place names are mounted upside down to protest.
