Looking out over Lake Geneva from an altitude of 1000 metres, the Cauxcentre can accommodate up to 400 people. Formerly the Caux-Palace Hotel, in 1946 it became an international meeting place, thanks to the generous contributions in time, talent and money of many volunteers. The Palace Caux hotel is a former luxury hotel which welcomed international high society during the Belle Époque. Today it is a conference and seminar center that provides an inspiring and peaceful setting for meetings, events, workshops and retreats. You can admire the elegant architecture and stunning views of the lake and mountains from the palace grounds. You can then continue your run through forests, vineyards and rocky cliffs, enjoying the beauty and diversity of nature.

Summit without summit cross at 2331m. When climbing the southeast ridge (Alpine hiking trail "white-blue-white"), there are ladders, railings, many iron clamps, chains and many wire ropes on the mountain, so well secured if you are free from giddiness and can show sure-footedness.

Ascent from the north face (Col d’Ayerne => Lac Pourri => Alpe Lioson), exploring the ancient hiking trail that has not been maintained for 30 years. The solitude of this valley is wonderful- as far as you are prepared to some pathfinding above Alpe Lioson. Beware of two hyper-efficient shepherd dogs on alpe Lioson: they do their job and made me run faster than I could even think. Worth the adventure!
