In summer, the Brienz lake promenade is a popular place to linger and marvel. Cafes, restaurants, pubs, tea rooms and hotels invite you to stop off or stay the night. If the weather plays along, the turquoise water of Lake Brienz in combination with the surrounding mountains creates a fantastic contrast.

It reflects the old (historical) part of the village and forms a wonderful contrast to the village with its hotels and restaurants, which is otherwise heavily influenced by tourism. You can't feel more homely on Lake Brienz.
