Bonaduz / Panaduz Station, RhB since 1903 1903 - Opening of the Reichenau – Ilanz Line In 1888, Graubünden railway pioneers realized their idea of a mountain railway. At the initiative of the Dutchman Willem-Jan Holsboer, they founded the Landquart-Davos narrow-gauge railway company. The groundbreaking ceremony took place that same year, and the Landquart – Klosters railway line opened in 1889. As early as 1890, the first steam trains ran from Landquart to Davos. Later, the lines to St. Moritz, Disentis, and Scuol-Tarasp were added. Thanks to the mergers with the Arosa and Bernina Railways, the route network expanded. Located on the MTB route 256 Bonaduzer Wald. Cross the bridge to Trin Station (refreshment stop). Then go back up to the route.

A sign warns not to stop for 300m because of the danger of rockslides. In contrast to the path, the train route here runs through a tunnel. Large boulders in the river and small stones confirm this.

The founding of the Rhaetian Railway goes back to the Dutchman Willem Jan Holsboer. This was the main initiator of a railway from Landquart to Davos, the first route in the network of the later RhB.

Imposing suspension bridge over the fresh Rhine. Actually, however, the bridge and surrounding paths should not be driven on by bike ... Only for pedestrians :-(
