A very nice hiking and climbing tour, but you should have a head for heights. The view from the summit makes you forget the effort. Our dog also managed it, but Lenchen needed support every now and then. We returned the same way because the suggested route was too dangerous. Locals gave us the information that there is actually no path there. So no round trip.

The short detour via this peak will offer you a rather unique setting for a picnic. You can even try your hand at mountain cuisine in one of the inns in the valley.

La Hourquette d'Arrê peaks at 2,574 meters above sea level. This chain of small peaks forms a barrier between the Ossau and Aspe valleys. A small passage on the GR10 allows you to go from one to the other.

From here you can admire the Small and the Large Gabizos, which are among the celebrities of the area. These peaks are connected by ridges and ridges that tease the 3000 meters. If you come back to the area or have time for a big detour, a quite spectacular ridge path can be taken there.
