The Transverdon is a must-do, starting from the Col d'Allos. First, look for marmots from the beginning of the trail. Then, a short single track along the mountainside for a thrill, then a switch to the other side, enjoying the view of the La Foux ski slopes opposite, and then off for a long descent through the forest to Allos!! A little info: the record for this descent in competition is 17 minutes 😁 Arriving in Bouchier, before Allos, either descend to the village, or I added the "La Vacheresse" loop, then Allos, then back to La Foux. Have a great ride ✌️

On a clear day, the panoramic views from this col are breath-taking. A great spot to linger for a moment, so long as it's not too windy! It's also the first descent of the TransVerdon mountain bike route.

This gravel path winds along the heights of La Colle-Saint-Michel. It offers beautiful views of the surrounding mountains.

Classified as a Natura 2000 area, the Lignin lakes are of glacial origin. Located on the high plateaus at more than 2,200 meters of latitude, they are not permanent and the smaller of the two lakes dries up during the summer, giving way to more or less humid areas.

This panoramic pass marks the start of the ascent to the summits of Petit and Grand Cheval de Bois (2,754 meters and 2,838 meters above sea level).
