The Mirador del Fomeni a Son Amer is a viewpoint in the Serra de Tramuntana, accessible from the Refugi de Son Amer mountain hut. The route is a moderate, approximately 6 km long hike with an elevation gain of approximately 300 m, taking approximately 2 to 2.5 hours and requiring a good level of fitness. The trail is mostly well-paved, but surefootedness is required, especially in the area of the viewpoint.

Accessible via several routes. Coming from the southwest and southeast, it's significantly more scenic, but also more strenuous, than the mainstream route. The tin hut is often occupied and serves as a fire lookout. Great views over the Badia de Pollença, Puig Romaní, Cap Formentor, the Penya Roja, the northern foothills of the Tramuntana, the Badia d'Alcúdia and its resorts, all the way to Cap de Ferrutx.

From the GR221 it is a 1h (I walk athletically) climb, which is doable without any problems... the view from up here of Formentor and the peninsulas of the north coast is beautiful

This beautiful viewpoint is located 200m off the main hiking trail... you have a wonderful view of the Tramuntana mountains, Lluc and the Refugio Son Amer, as they are embedded in this mountain world
