The main building was built around 1800. It is surrounded by a park that was larger before the highway was built. The castle is privately owned and unfortunately cannot be visited.

Neufelsberg Castle - popularly known as the Teufelsburg - was probably built between 1354 and 1390. It was first mentioned in writing in 1370 between the builder Duke Jean I (1346-1390) of Lorraine and the knight Arnold von Felsberg. From 1964, parts of the castle were rebuilt. The facility offers a wide view over the plain from Saarlouis to the Saarpolygon and is often visited by celebrating young people.

Very imposing, well-kept building. I am impressed every time I pass there. Fremersdorf Castle in Fremersdorf in the Saarland, a district of Rehlingen-Siersburg, is a historical ensemble of buildings whose origins as a medieval castle probably date back to the 12th century. Some of the castle buildings preserved today go back to the Renaissance and Baroque periods; today's main building was built around 1797. The once impressive castle park was severely damaged by the alignment of the A8 along the Saar and significantly cut.
