Nice place with good view over the valley

It is possible to do it with a mountain bike or gravel bike starting either from Villeneuve or from Montesquieu or from Boulou

Nice and shaded hike on 2/3 from a departure of the pass perfect for a family outing. The point of view is splendid canigou on one side, sea on the other. The rocky and alpine summit contrasts with the more forested approach.

In the snow very difficult to find the way but at the top a wonderful view

Montesquieu-des-Albères has about 1235 inhabitants at least in 2019. The place is located in the high mountain range of the Albères. The Via Domitia once led right next to this place in ancient times. A Roman watchtower was also found here.

Great view over the country👌🏼 You don't see that every day

Wonderful ! real sensations of altitude. Loop path. Departure from the Albère town hall. It climbs strong, mostly in the shade. Little by little, sumptuous panoramas offer themselves to the gaze. The summit is more mineral. Both the ascent and the descent are no problem for people prone to vertigo like me. A little practice, take your time not to get into the red, have good feet with sometimes unstable stones and slippery leaves on the descent. Sticks seem essential to me. A trail not to be missed in good weather.
