The Protestant village church to our dear women is in Buchfart in the Weimarer Land district in Thuringia. The Buchfart parish belongs to the Buchfart-Legefeld parish association in the Weimar parish of the Evangelical Church in Central Germany. The winged altar from Jena’s Linde workshop dates from 1492. It shows Mary as the Queen of Heaven on the crescent moon with a halo and a child in her arms. Other figures are Peter and Paul as well as the Saints Dorothea, Barbara, Katharina and Margareta with the insignia. When closed, the winged altar shows the proclamation of the Archangel Gabriel to the Virgin Mary. The crucifix is also from the 16th century.
