It’s a gorgeous sunny cold day, so I decided not to take the straight line, than a bit of a scenic bike ride around (part) of lake. Start point “Het huis van de stad” - municipality building.

It rains for days now, real November. The weather forecast promised a time slot of 2 “semi dry” hours, so off I went. I could have stayed on paved roads, but decided instead to go through fields. I wanted to see how this area looks during a gray rainy day. I’m glad I had my high Lowa’s on, as mud was everywhere. Cold air, light rain and gray cast of clouds didn’t demolish the beauty of this area. PS if you’re interested how it looked only 10 days ago with more sunlight; check my post from 6th of November, 6th August and 20th of May. 😉

When you live in Holland it’s easy to be in nature. Every you go, nature is intertwined. We went from nice suburb walk into the reclaimed land, where farming and nature. preservation goes hand in hand. Perfect walk. Ok now I need to wash my shoes, as I bought to much “nature” with me 🤭
