Today, I'm proud and incredibly grateful to have experienced such a fantastic mountain tour 🥾.
I've never seen glaciers 🧊 up close in summer, and I've never been above 2800m on foot.

The Unnützüberquerung has been on my "summit list" for a long time, and I was all the more pleased that @⛰️Sascha🚴🏼 joined me for this great hike today.

Last day on Rügen, so today we're having another gourmet getaway 🚴🚴🏼♀️ with Christoph.
The ☀️ is shining from the sky and it's a pleasant 22 degrees...perfect weather.
We meet in Breege at the parking lot 🅿️ and head off towards Cape Arkona.
We've not even walked 10km yet and we decide to take a coffee

And once again, the weather gods were kind to us 😃...the rain front 🌧️ passed us about 500 meters north 🤗
Wonderful hike with Christoph 🕺🏼 and Dora 🐶 over the Zicker Mountains. The Bakenberg ⛰️ rises a proud 69 meters...okay, more of a hill, but with a summit cross and a viewing bench!

Mal wieder eine meiner Lieblingstouren gemacht, das Rangger Köpfl 🏔️. Mit Markus als "Eseltreiber" und Dauergesprächspartner 🗣️(wie reden halt beide gerne und viel) sind die 1140hm ratz fatz hinter uns. Wobei einfach der Weg durch den Wald, der nie wirklich steile Anstieg und der fantastische Blick einem auch die Zeit vergessen lässt. Einkehrschwung auf der Hütte (sehr gute Kaspressknödelsuppe) und dann auf der perfekt 👌 präparierten Piste bis Stieglreith. Ab hier dann im Grashüpfer-Stil 🦗nach unten. Da muss man schon sehr defensiv fahren, denn die Sonne hat fleißig am Schnee gefressen 🫠! Dann halt Ski am Rücken und zu Fuß die letzten hm zur Station.... frei nach dem Motto: ich kenn da mal ne Abkürzung 🤣

JUHUU endlich genug Schnee für die ersten Skitour der Saison 🤗....Also gleich Birgit eingepackt und los ging's. Bei eisigen Temperaturen 🥶🧊 ging es neben der Piste mit einer Herde anderer Skitourengeher am Pistenrand hoch. Es gibt wirklich schönere Pistentouren - aber für die erste Tour der Saison war es schon ok. Die Sonne ☀️ kommt halt erst sehr weit oben (nach ca. 500hm) über die Gipfel der Kalkkögel. Aber sobald man oben den Kamm erreicht hat ist es einfach wunderschön. Die Aussicht in alle Richtungen (Stubai, Sellrain, Ranger Köpfl, Innsbruck...) einfach gigantisch. Bei Spritz 🍹, lecker Essen 🍝🍳 und einem Schläfchen 💤 lies es sich im Hoadl Haus wunderbar aushalten - die Sonne knalle in die große Fensterfront - wir fühlten uns wie im Gewächshaus. Die Abfahrt über die unpräparierte Damenabfahrt war OK...Birgit fand's super - ich so lala...ist ja auch Saisonstart und nach dem ich fast 2 Wochen mit nem Virus flachlag bin ich einfach noch nicht ganz fit. Das merkt man einfach....aber alles in allem ein super Tag mit viel Spaß und Sonne!
