The cemetery is located about 2 km northeast of Pretzfeld on the "Judenberg". It is located from the trail parking lot above Pretzfeld in the direction of Ebermannstadt, accessible via a forest road through the Kellerwald.

The Jewish cemetery has existed since the 16th and 17th centuries. Century. In 1928 many tombstones were knocked over and the entrance gate was damaged.
A man from Muggendorf, appointed by the military government as a trustee after WWII, sold tombstones as building material. Only part of it could be brought back.

The Jewish cemetery in Pretzfeld was occupied until the end of the 19th century. It is 7360 square meters and is surrounded by a quarry stone wall. It can be found about two kilometers north-east of Pretzfeld on the Judenberg not far from the Sauanger field.
The Jewish cemetery was created in the 16th or 17th century. A burial of Baruch Zvi Ophir in 1632 has been handed down.
