The Rothenburg Tourism Service's guest information desk with all hiking and cycling maps is located in the former council drinking room. Opening times: rothenburg-tourismus.de/service/oeffnungszeiten

The town hall is high up, and you can climb up its tower - from there you have a wonderful view of the old town. rothenburg-tourismus.de/entdecken/top10-sehenswuerdigkeiten/marktplatz-rathaus

The market square is the center of Rothenburg. Framed by the town hall with its renaissance facade, the Ratstinkstube, the St. Georgsbrunnen, the meat shop and on the eastern side by the mighty town houses, it can be described as the most beautiful market square in Germany.

Great view from above - simply beautiful!
Suitable for everyone without fear of heights or claustrophobia. The stairs get steeper and steeper towards the top. In addition, a small contribution has to be paid as an entrance fee. Nevertheless, it is definitely worthwhile to be able to enjoy the view over the city from a different perspective :)
