I was lucky that the gate to the gallery was open and the friendly workers let me peek inside. The view into the tunnel was impressive and the hanging carts up close were much larger than expected. Lt. According to one of the workers, the tunnel is 500m long.

I would be interested in where the cable car goes. At the visible end, it is certainly downhill in a tunnel - if you can trust the sign.

On my tour today I noticed that the rails are missing at the final stop. I read from a report in the regional newspaper that from August 2019 the train will only go to the Moltkestraße stop.
