            The path towards the historic old town of Werden leads along the Hardenbergufer. It always goes along the promenade to a small bridge over which you come to the "Brehminsel", the Brehm. Even if you don't have that much time to relax on the island for hours, a short tour is always worthwhile. The Brehm and the Ruhruferpromenade can also be walked as a Ruhruferrundweg according to the map shown.
