In Bad Elster there is probably the most beautiful outdoor pool in the Vogtland. The bath is located in the middle of nature. It's very well kept. The facility and the changing rooms are modern. There are two ponds with clear water. A playground is available. If you don't mind the tadpoles in the water, you can enjoy the summer here in the safe nature.

On June 22, 1906, the light, air and swimming pool in Bad Elster was opened, which was redesigned in the years that followed by the Royal Saxon horticultural inspector Paul Schindel to today's facility. The opening with three separate bathing ponds for women, men and families then took place in 1916. Today, two well-preserved and well-kept bathing ponds invite you to relax.
Due to the idyllic location and its special historical condition, the listed natural pool in Bad Elster is an insider tip and is very popular with guests and residents of the spa. Nature lovers in particular appreciate the harmonious interplay of attractive quiet areas and natural bathing opportunities.

Looks really wonderful - nicely prepared in a quiet, beautiful location. A few years ago, when we were last here, there was still a major construction site.
You should also take a closer look at the display boards on the development of the natural pool.
