The manor house in Neddesitz was built in the neo-baroque style in the first decade of the 20th century. The estate has been part of the Spyker family since the 16th century. In 1815, like Spyker Castle, it came into the possession of the Putbus family.
The estate was managed by Fritz Gierke before the expropriation in 1945.
Today the Jasmar Resort Rügen in Neddesitz offers holiday apartments and rooms for discerning holidaymakers.

The playful elegance of the Neddesitz manor house, built around 1901 in the Neo-Baroque style with Art Nouveau elements, in the district of the same name in the municipality of Sagard, still holds its own charm today.

The manor house was built by Gierke, a former chalk quarry owner from Berlin, who established a farm here after 1920.

The stately two-story, plastered clinker brick building has a half-hipped roof, with a gable facade integrated into the center, and two dormer windows (dormers) to the right and left of it. A flight of steps, covered by a spacious balcony, leads to the main entrance of the building. The servants' entrances are located on the eastern gable.

In 1945, the manor house was expropriated, and the chalk factory became public property.

The former farming village of "Nedasitze" was first mentioned in documents in 1318. It consisted of four farms and a cottage. The lord of the manor was the Spyker family until 1815, when it fell to the House of Putbus. In the 19th century, a chalk quarry was established near Neddesitz and was operated until 1954.

A recently established museum, whose main focus is on the historical mining of chalk, is located in the immediate vicinity of the estate, which today forms the center of a hotel complex.
