Impressive facility, which is surrounded by a moat and a wonderful park. The Hünnefeld Castle was first mentioned in 1146 and rebuilt several times. Today it is inhabited by the von dem Bussche-Hünnefeld family. The park is open to the café guests and the castle can be visited by appointment.

The main and south wings as well as the rear garden are still used today by the von dem Bussche-Hünnefeld family as a residential building and are not accessible. A small museum on the history of the house and family has been set up in the north wing, which is regularly open on weekends.
Since 2006, the Hünnefelder courtyard festival has been held every year in early summer on the grounds of Hünnefeld Castle.
