The beach in Swinoujscie is the widest beach on the island of Usedom. Sand is constantly washed up here, which is removed from other parts of the island. The beach is sandy and several kilometers long. In the east it is bordered by the west pier with the mill beacon. to the west of the German-Polish border before Ahlbeck. Beach walks in the direction of Ahlbeck are not hindered by this border.
The water is initially shallow so that children can swim too. Beach chairs are still relatively rare, most people bring their own windbreaker or a blanket. Immediately in front of the city, the beach is quite lively in good summer weather. In the direction of Ahlbeck, however, it gets quieter. Those who want it to be quiet can cross the Swine by ferry. Then he looks for a place on the beach on the island of Wollin, east of the Swine. As far as Miedzyzdroje - about 15 kilometers - there is no other bathing resort and everyone can find a quiet spot on the almost deserted beach.

The beach accesses have been modernized and there are showers and changing room shelters. In the middle of the beach there is a modern lifeguard station (Ratownik), a Polish variant of Bay Watch. The entire beach is monitored by lifeguards during the season.

The beach stretches to the western pier - there is also a dog beach there. There is no nudist beach on the Polish side, but the Ahlbeck nudist beach joins to the west directly after the former border.
