Nice refuge at over 2400 meters. Again (again free!) Camping is possible. Drinking water and toilets are available, showers are not.
For camping there are several possibilities, whether above the Refuges or below.
If you want to spend the night in the Refuge, you should make a reservation in advance, especially at peak times.

It is a very nice refuge located at 2,443 meters above sea level, at the Col de la Croix du Bonhomme.

We enjoy a panorama that goes from the Haute Maurienne to the Chartreuse! You can eat there and spend the night there. There is also an independent picnic room.

Croix du Bonhomme is located in the French Alps. It is a popular stop for hikers on the Tour du Mont Blanc, and it offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains, including Mont Blanc.

The hut has a capacity of 105 people, and it is open from June to September. It offers dormitory-style accommodation, as well as a restaurant and bar.

Croix du Bonhomme is a great place to rest and refuel after a day of hiking. It is also a great place to enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding mountains. If you are planning on hiking the Tour du Mont Blanc, the Hut of the Croix du Bonhomme is a must-stop.
