From Tomasee you are in about 2 hours on the summit. The path is no longer marked white-red-white, but you can find it well to the saddle. Then follow the Steinmännli. The summit ridge is partially exposed, so you should be sure-footed. But it does not need any climbing skills to gallop to the summit cross.

At almost 3000 m, Piz Badus is a beautiful, almost alpine summit on the border between Uri and Graubünden. Accessible on unmarked mountain trails from Tomasee, over the Rossbodenstock (easy climbing) or the southeast ridge (climbing), you can quickly get rid of the entourage of tourists (4-Quellenweg and Rheinquelle).
