For many road cyclists "Peter auf'm Berg" is less a starting point than a waymark when testing their own mountain flea qualities. No matter which side, once arrived at the top, you usually do not want to miss the immediate departure on the other side. From the south side from Steinhagen it is steeper, nicer, more strenuous to drive. However, it should be kept in mind that there is always a lot of traffic passing through the mountain here.
