A quiet corner can always be found here. The mood is also very nice in the morning (opens at eight) or in the evening (the garden closes at twilight in each case - in summer up to 9 pm). In the local time garden one experiences the changes of the seasons and the preparations for a new harvest. The show greenhouses present exotic plants in tropical homes. The recreational value is high and the knowledge about the different plants is deepened.

The flora is the botanical garden of the city of Cologne. He shows more than 10,000 native and exotic plant species, partly outdoors and partly in greenhouses. The focal point of the 1864 opened plant is also called Flora Festhaus, which was originally built as a palm house.
