You can always find a quiet corner here. The atmosphere is also lovely in the morning (it opens at 8 a.m.) or in the evening (the garden closes at dusk – in summer, at the latest, 9 p.m.). Incidentally, "Flora" refers only to the building and a small part of the park. You can find lots of information, including about its history, here: freundeskreis-flora-koeln.de

Again and again, the flora is an experience, in every season. In January, the early flowering already sprout and one suspects the near spring. In the local time garden one experiences the changes of the seasons and the preparations for a new harvest. The show greenhouses present exotic plants in tropical homes. The recreational value is high and the knowledge about the different plants is deepened.
