      The train to Engelskirchen wasn't running, so I quickly hopped on the train toward Sieg and quickly built a ride along the way. I looked for shade... and mostly found it. However, I also encountered three very overgrown sections of the path and a stretch of hot asphalt between Plackenhohn and Nannenhohn

      The trail is mostly beautiful, partially overlapping with the Pilgrims' Way and the Bergischer Weg. Only the last 3 km in the valley through the Overath sports and school center aren't so great.
